SITE CLEARING AND GRUBBING

Clearing is the first step in the development process, and quite often sets the tone with the regulatory agencies for the rest of the project. KWI will help evaluate each site and determine the most cost-effective and environmentally responsible method of preparing it for construction. Regardless of what clearing / grubbing method is chosen, KWI has the resources and the ability to make it happen.

EROSION AND STORMWATER CONTROL

Controlling how much (and in what manner) storm water leaves a site is a major component in the development of today’s residential and commercial projects. KWI continues to be an industry leader in this area. We can lend our years of experience and familiarity with each jurisdiction’s rules and regulations to ensure that each of our projects stay compliant in the most cost effective manner possible.

SITE GRADING

The most visible (and often most critical) step in the development process is site grading. KWI is among a very elite group of contractors that can offer the knowledge and expertise that comes from over 30 years of field experience in earth moving. What results when we combine the experience of our past with the cutting edge GPS technology of today, is a site that is graded more efficiently and more cost-effectively than ever before.

UNDERGROUND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION

Without question, the most technical aspect of site development is the design and installation of underground water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure. At KWI, our multiple in-house utility crews understand the importance of getting it right the first time. We continuously challenge our utility crews to increase productivity, but never to do so at the expense of safety and/or accuracy.

CURB & GUTTER / PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION

Curb and pavement construction is often the final step in the site development process. It is also the most critical for our customers in terms of the daily use and on-going maintenance. Whether a project includes a small private parking lot, or miles of public roadway, KWI has the resources and capability to get it done, and get it done correctly.
